The Rocksteady Award for Progressive and Inclusive Music Education

Rocksteady is the world's largest Rock-school, championing progressive and inclusive music education through Rocksteady’s unique child-led pedagogy which is designed to ensure no child is left behind.

Rocksteady’s in-school music lessons enable children aged 4-11 to play in their very own band. Children learn from Rocksteady’s deep and rich curriculum of skills across general musicianship, instrument specific skills and band skills. All whilst developing confidence, social skills, and positive learning behaviour.

In a recent survey 100% of headteachers reported that Rocksteady had proved to have a significant positive impact on their school and 90% of parents reported that Rocksteady was supporting their child’s wellbeing.
